Continuing its 64 year old tradition of raising and giving funds to local charities, the Rotary Club of Brandon handed out checks to several Brandon-based non profits this past week. Through its efforts from their signature Wild Game Dinner and Annual Golf Tournament at Buckhorn Golf and Country Club, the Rotary Club of Brandon worked diligently under the Presidency of Craig Oldham to hand out checks totaling over $46,000 to eight well-deserving charities. Those receiving funds this year included Rotary's Camp Florida, The Outreach Clinic, The Women's Resource Center of Tampa, Emergency Care Help Organization, the Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center, Gulf Ridge Council Boy Scouts, the Boy's and Girl's Club of Riverview, and the Brandon Rotary Club Charity Fund for scholarships.
